JANA PONIKVAR
A sociologist who dedicates her entire career to diversity, equality and inclusion. She began her studies at the Faculty of Social Sciences in the field of Human resource management, continued with a master’s degree in European social policy analysis, and is currently a PhD student in the Sociology of everyday life. Since 2006 she is leading ŠENTPRIMA Institute for Rehabilitation and Education. Together with her colleagues and partners, she is developing the Diversity Charter of Slovenia and today she is the president of the Charter’s council. She is always very active in the development of areas of inclusion of vulnerable groups, mental health, social economy and diversity management. She actively participates in many domestic and international umbrella organizations in these areas. She participates in the development, management and implementation of numerous domestic and international projects, events, educational programs and researches. She is the author and co-author of multiple professional publications and articles. Through life and work, she is guided by the values of respect, heartiness and solidarity.
